Kenya is renowned for its beautiful wildlife and amazing scenery and it's the perfect place to celebrate this year's Diwali holidays.

Safari Itinerary:
Day 01: Welcome to Nairobi, Kenya’s Bustling Capital
Once you arrive at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you’ll be warmly received by HTT Operations Manager, who will give you a short brief of your safari. You will then be transferred by private vehicle to Movenpick Hotel located in the heart of Westlands, Nairobi's commercial, retail and entertainment suburb about 20 kilometers from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Lunch and dinner on own basis.
Overnight at Movenpick Hotel – 4*

DAY 02: Maasai Mara Game Reserve, 8th Wonder of the World
Wake up to an early buffet breakfast at the hotel, check out then depart for the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. After you have settled, you can then proceed to have a sumptuous lunch.

You’ll spend your afternoon at your own leisure. Later in the evening at 1600 hours, you’ll depart for an evening game drive. This is the perfect time for a game drive as the animals have come out of their hideouts from the afternoon sun.

A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeests, zebra, and gazelles from the Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and Mara River to reach Maasai Mara grazing fields. The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed early June to August. The Mara has got also thousands of species of bird life and plant life.
1830 hrs: Return to the camp/lodge for dinner. Overnight at a 4* lodge

DAY 03: Explore the Plains & Wildlife of Maasai Mara
Wake up for a refreshing hot cup of coffee or tea. Then depart for a morning game drive to explore the Mara plains and its intriguing wildlife.
Return to the camp/lodge for a full buffet breakfast.

You can opt for a Hot Air Balloon Safari instead of a morning game drive. This is truly a fun and exciting way to see Africa’s landscapes and wildlife. The trip is magical: spend about one hour floating over the Mara plains. You float in the sky, drift with the whim of the wind, overlooking the plains, just in time to experience a breathtaking sunrise and catch a bird’s eye view of the reserve.

Spend the morning at your own leisure.

1230hrs: Enjoy a scintillating buffet lunch at the camp/lodge. Afternoon spent at leisure. You can relax by the swimming pool or you can visit a traditional Maasai Village where you’ll get insight into the vibrant and traditional way of life of the Maasai.
1600hrs: Depart for an evening game drive over the expansive Mara Plains. 1830hrs: Return to the camp/lodge for dinner and then overnight at a 4* lodge

DAY 04: The Shores of Scenic Lake Naivasha
Buffet breakfast at the camp/lodge, then depart for Lake Naivasha and arrive at the 4* lodge in time for lunch. You can spend the afternoon at your own leisure.

Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in the Kenya section of Africa’s Great Rift Valley, and is located north west of Nairobi with the town of Naivasha on its north eastern shore. At 1,890 meters (6,200 ft) above sea level, the lake is at the highest point in the Kenyan rift, and is set in a complex geological combination of volcanic rocks and sedimentary deposits from a much larger Pleistocene era lake.

Because the outlet for this ancient lake, now called Njorwa Gorge, is today much higher than the lake, the original Lake Naivasha must have indeed been a truly vast expanse of water. The gorge now forms the entrance to the Hell’s Gate National Park which, for obvious reasons, today contains some spectacular examples of water and weather-worn rock formations as well as an abundance of flora and fauna to include some extremely rare, resident breeding pairs of Lammergeyers, otherwise known as Bearded vultures.

This time can be used doing a boat ride or a visit to Crescent Island – see rates below on “Extras” Dinner and then overnight at the 4* lodge.

DAY 05: The Scenic Aberdares National Park
Enjoy a buffet breakfast at the lodge, and then depart for the scenic Aberdares National Park. You’ll arrive at the Aberdare Country Club, which is the base hotel for The Ark Tree Lodge. In the afternoon, you’ll be transferred to The Ark. Note: (Pack small overnight bags for the Ark).

Set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, iconic and yes, quirky. The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. Modeled after Noah's Ark, The Ark has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. The animals come to you!
Dinner and then overnight at The Ark.

DAY 06: Panoramic Views of Mount Kilimanjaro at Amboseli
Wake up for a buffet breakfast at the Ark. Today, you’ll be transferred to the Aberdare Country Club to rejoin your driver guide before departure for Amboseli National Park.

The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. Other attraction of the park includes opportunities to meet the Maasai people and also offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.

Pick up lunch boxes in Nairobi and continue driving towards the park. Upon arrival at the park’s gate, you’ll enjoy your game drive until evening hours.
1830 hrs: Check in at a 4* in time for dinner and then overnight. Overnight at a 4* lodge.

DAY 07: from Aberdares to Nairobi & Onwards
