This enthralling 8 day tour will introduce you to the captivating and diverse city of, Istanbul and to the gardens and parks of Bursa and Yalova. Begin your tour in Istanbul, enjoy visits to various attractions including the stunning Saint Sophia Basilica, a former Greek Orthodox patriarchal basilica; the Blue Mosque, a phenomenal example of classic Ottoman architecture and the Hippodrome, previously a social centre of Constantinople, today a stunning site with fragments of the original structure still surviving. Your tour then proceeds to the first capital city of the Ottoman Empire, Bursa. Here you will visit the Grand Mosque, old silk market and a cable car ride to enjoy the slopes of the 2,443-metre Mount Uludag before heading to the picturesque city of Yalova, famous for its thermal springs.

Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul

Upon arrival in Istanbul you will be transferred to your hotel. After you have checked in feel free to spend the rest of the day casually exploring the incredible city of Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2: Istanbul (B)

Enjoy our half-day city tour that includes visits to Saint Sophia Basilica, Blue Mosque and the Hippodrome. In the evening make sure to sample some Turkish cuisine at any of the street side restaurants or cafes. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 3: Istanbul (B)

Spend the day exploring one of the largest and oldest markets in the world. The vast Grand Bazaar is an indoor market with many entrances and exits filled with infinite shop lined alleys. You will need to refuel periodically at any of the quaint cafes interspersed throughout the Bazaar before you carry on losing your way through the myriad nooks and crannies filled with antiques, souvenirs and oddities of all sorts. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 4: Istanbul to Bursa (B)

Today you will be driven to Bursa where you will have a sightseeing tour that includes a visit to the Great Mosque, old silk market, Bazaar and Mount Olympus. Overnight in Bursa.

Day 5: Bursa (B)

Spend this day seeing the rest of the sites of Bursa including the Bursa City Museum, Uluumay Museum and the Green Mosque. Overnight in Bursa.

Day 6: Bursa to Yalova (B)

Today you will be driven to Yalova where you can visit the Yuruyen Kosk and relax at the Pythia Thermal Spa. Overnight in Yalova.

Day 7: Yalova to Istanbul (B)

AToday you will be driven from Yalova to Istanbul, once here you can revisit sites you found particularly interesting or perhaps get another to chance to buy an attractive item from the Grand Bazaar.

Day 8: Departure (B)

Today after breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight

Arrive at Istanbul Ataturk Airport. Transfer to hotel.

Dinner at guest’s expense


After breakfast visit the Hagia Sophia, the 6th century Byzantine basilica, the largest church of its era and the architectural glory of the Byzantines; the Blue Mosque, 17th century imperial mosque famous for its six minarets as well as its interior blue tiles; Byzantine Hippodrome, now an open air exhibition park with a number of monuments where chariot races were once held. Finally visit the Grand Bazaar, World’s largest covered market with more than 4000 shops and multitude of alleys.


Following breakfast at the hotel, check out from the hotel for transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Ankara. Meet at Ankara Esenboga Airport and proceed with visits in Ankara - the capital city of Turky, including the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, where archaeological pieces dating as far back as the prehistoric age are exhibited; the Mausoleum of Atatruk, where the founder of the Turkish Republic lies; and finally a visit to the Ancient Citadel. After lunch in Ankara depart for Cappadocia.


After breakfast a visit to the natural citadel of Uchisar, for a panoramic view of the region; then an extensive visit to the Göreme Open Air Museum, with its 10th century churches cut out of soft rock with beautiful interior frescoes, then brief visits to Cavusin; Pasabag Valley, and finally Avanos Village, famous for its pottery and handicrafts. Some time for carpet show and shopping.


After breakfast, visit Subterrenean City of Kaymakli or Derinkuyu, established in the 7th century by Christians fleeing persecution, in which a visitor is able to descend several floor levels. Depart for Ankara. Lunch en route, board the domestic flight to Istanbul
