15th May - Welcome to Nairobi, Kenya’s Bustling Capital
Once you arrive at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you’ll be warmly received by HTT Operations Manager, who will give you a short brief of your safari. You will then be transferred by private vehicle to Movenpick Hotel located in the heart of Nairobi.
Depending on when you arrive, you may have time to explore the city and its attractions.
Some of the most popular excursions include:-
a). Visit to the Karen Blixen Museum (once home to the author of the evocative “Out of Africa” book).
b). Giraffe Centre; which protects the highly endangered Rothschild's giraffe.
c). David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust; an orphanage for young elephants.
d). Nairobi National Park; the only wildlife national park in the world that is located within a city.
16th May - Amboseli National Park
Wake up to a hearty buffet breakfast at the hotel and later depart for Amboseli National Park.
The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. Other attraction of the park includes opportunities to meet the Maasai people and also offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
Arrive at Amboseli Sopa Lodge, check in and enjoy buffet lunch and later spend your afternoon at leisure. Later, you'll depart for evening game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
17th - The Scenic Aberdares National Park
Enjoy a buffet breakfast at the lodge, and then depart for the scenic Aberdares National Park. You’ll arrive at the Aberdare Country Club, which is the base hotel for The Ark Tree Lodge. In the afternoon, you’ll be transferred to The Ark.
Note: (Pack small overnight bags for the Ark). Set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, iconic and yes, quirky. The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. Modeled after Noah's Ark, The Ark has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. The animals come to you!

18th - Aberdares to Lake Nakuru National Park
Wake up to a hearty buffet breakfast at the Ark then transferred to Aberdares Country Club to reclaim your left luggage, then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. You'll arrive at Flamingo Hill Camp in time for lunch.
Lake Nakuru National Park is well known for Greater and Lesser Flamingo. There are approximately about 450 species of birds.
Mammals: 56 different species including white Rhinos, Waterbuck etc.
Other Attractions includes:
a). View-points: Lion hill, Baboon cliff and Out of Africa.
b). Hills: Enasoit, Honeymoon, Lion hill ridge etc.
c). Waterfalls: Makalia.
d). Unique vegetation: About 550 different plant species including the unique and biggest euphorbia forest in Africa, Picturesque landscape and yellow acacia woodlands.
Later in the evening, you'll depart for an evening game drive before returning to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
19th May - Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
Depart for early morning game drive and return later to the camp for a hearty buffet breakfast.
Check out and depart for Lake Naivasha(It’s a 1hour drive from your camp).
1000hrs: Arrive at Lake Naivasha Resort , Check in and relax.
1230hrs enjoy buffet lunch at the Resort.
Spend your afternoon at leisure or undertake optional excursions including a scenic boat ride on Cresent Island or a visit to the Maasai village.
Return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.
20th May - Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Wake up to an early buffet breakfast at Resort and then check out.
Depart for Maasai Mara National Reserve, which is also known as the “Jewell of Kenya. On your way to Maasai Mara National Reserve, you will enjoy different array of views which are just priceless.
Arrive at Maasai Mara National Reserve; you will have game drive enroute to your lodge which is Keekorok lodge. You’ll have a sumptuous Lunch at the lodge.
In the late afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in this amazing game reserve known for its wildlife. The Masai Mara is known as one of the finest wildlife destinations in the World.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
21st May - Full Day in Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Wake up for a refreshing hot cup of coffee or tea. Then depart for a morning game drive to explore the Mara plains and its intriguing wildlife.
Alternatively:- You can opt for a Hot Air Balloon Safari instead of a morning game drive. This is truly a fun and exciting way to see Africa’s landscapes and wildlife.
The trip is magical: spend about one hour floating over the Mara plains. You float in the sky, drift with the whim of the wind, overlooking the plains, just in time to experience a breathtaking sunrise and catch a bird’s eye view of the reserve.
Return to the lodge for a full buffet breakfast and spend the morning at your own leisure.
Enjoy a scintillating buffet lunch at the lodge. Afternoon spent at leisure. You can relax by the swimming pool or you can visit a traditional Maasai Village where you’ll get insight into the vibrant and traditional way of life of the Maasai.
Depart for an evening game drive and return later for dinner and overnight stay.
You can also opt for a full day game drive in the reserve with picnic lunch boxes.
22nd May - Departure
Enjoy a buffet breakfast at the lodge and then check out. Depart Maasai Mara National Reserve for Nairobi, in short; say goodbye to the sights and sounds of the Mara Plains as you hold on to the memories of the last few days and mentally plan for your return.
Arrive Nairobi by lunch time, Lunch on own arrangement before drop off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your home bound flight. (3 hrs. prior check in required)
