Day 1: Arrival Kilimanjaro Airport in Arusha
Your safari in Africa starts when you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll be met by our local representative and transferred to Arusha. We’ll stop briefly at Café Barista, for your picnic lunches before proceeding to Lake Manyara National Park for your first game viewing experience.
This diversity of habitat allows visitors to see a wide variety of wildlife in a relatively small area. Look out for the rare tree-climbing lions, monkeys galore in the tropical rain forest, hippos and flamingos around the lake and plenty of plains game grazing on the vast savannah. Day 2: Drive into Tarangire from Lake Manyara
After an early morning hearty breakfast, you’ll drive into Tarangire National Park to continue your game viewing. You’ll carry with you packed lunches, which you’ll enjoy in the midst of the exciting game drive. Tarangire was named after the river that flows the length of the park and is a constant water source for the animals. It is also famed for its signature baobab trees and beautiful stands of tortillis trees. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Treetops Lodge.
Day 3: Continue to Explore Tarangire, then depart for Karatu
Enjoy your breakfast at the camp. Later, take a morning leisurely drive to Karatu area and arrive just in time for lunch at Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge. You’ll have the afternoon free to enjoy relaxing activities at the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge
Day 4: Captivating Scenic views of Ngorongoro (Crater).
With picnic lunches, after breakfast, we’ll drive into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a full day tour. There is a large concentration of animals in the Crater and sightings of the “Big Five” – Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino and Leopard – are almost guaranteed. The structure of the Crater and the wildlife makes for a great African wildlife experience. Late in the afternoon, we’ll ascend from the crater and drive back to Karatu area for dinner. Overnight at Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge.
Day 5: from Karatu to the Enchanting Serengeti National Park
You’ll enjoy your breakfast at the lodge. In the morning, we’ll depart and drive to the inviting Serengeti National Park, stopping to admire the magnificent scenery on the way, arrive for lunch at Four Seasons Safari Lodge. After a hearty lunch, we’ll return back in the afternoon for another round of exhilarating game viewing in the Serengeti National Park - the park is unique for its annual Wildebeest migration and huge concentration of wildlife. Day 6: Full Day Game Viewing at Serengeti National Park
Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge. Later you’ll enjoy an exciting full day game viewing in Serengeti National Park - depending on the movement of the animals. Serengeti is undoubtedly the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and the greatest concentration of plains game anywhere. Day 7: Continue Our Exploration of Serengeti
Today, we’ll embark on exciting morning and afternoon game viewing in Serengeti National Park, whose eco-system contains the greatest concentration of wildlife in Africa. The varied topography and seasons creates a hugely diverse range of landscapes and changing wildlife habitats. Millions of migratory wildebeest, zebra and antelope roam the plains together with their attendant predators such as lion, cheetah, hyena and jackal. Day 8: Depart Serengeti to Kilimanjaro & Onwards
Wake up to an early breakfast at the lodge. After check out, you’ll be transferred to Seronera airstrip for your Coastal Air scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro ETD 1045Hrs (flight booked by local rep). 1230Hrs – Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport, connect with your departure flight back home; returning home full of wonderful memories and experiences.
